2V Camshaft Degree Service
It doesn't matter who ground the cam the advance/retard degree is off spec 90% of the time. Many times we have heard of people having problems with their engines not making good power after a camshaft install, or even worse, Bent Valves :/
There is much more to installing aftermarket camshafts than just lining up the dots on the cam sprockets with the dark links on the timing chains. To properly degree the camshafts, you need to find the centerlines and put them back where they belong. This makes the most possible power, while also making sure their is a safe amount of piston to valve clearance.
To make things easier for everyone, we offer a camshaft degree service. We have an engine dedicated to only degree camshafts for the 2V NPI, 2V PI and 2V TFS Heads. With our camshaft degree service, you can be certain your camshafts will make the most possible power, without causing any damage.
You will need to also purchase a set of the TFS Billet Adjustble Crankshaft Gears. They are the cheapest, most simple and most reliable option for installing aftermarket camshafts. We will make the proper adjustments for you. After the adjustments are made, we mount the TFS gears in a jig and drill them for 2 1/8" Hardened Steel Pins. This makes them much stronger and they are now a 1 piece gear and also makes installation on your end a breeze.
We are also willing to degree any other brand of camshafts. Simply purchase the degree service and send us your camshafts and hardware.
