The Diamond 5.4L Competition Series Pistons have a 1.330" Compression Height, which brings the Piston Crown right up to the top of the deck, just like the 4.6L. This is the correct way to enhance combustion efficiency as the OEM 5.4L pistons sit .120" down in the cylinder. These Pistons are supplied with Diamond's Moly Skirt Coating, H-13 Tool Steel Wrist Pins and a Steel Top, Napier 2nd Ring Set. We suggest the H-13 Tool Steel Wrist Pins around the 900+ HP mark.
These Pistons include 3V valve reliefs.
