The Diamond 5.4L Competition Series Pistons have a 1.330" Compression Height, which brings the Piston Crown right up to the top of the deck, just like the 4.6L. This is the correct way to enhance combustion efficiency as the OEM 5.4L pistons sit .120" down in the cylinder. These Pistons are supplied with Diamond's Moly Skirt Coating, 8620 .180" Wall Wrist Pins and a Steel Top, Napier 2nd Ring Set. We suggest upgrading to the H-13 Tool Steel Wrist Pins around the 900 HP mark.

These Pistons do not include valve reliefs but we can have them added for a small fee. Please note Pistons with the valve relief option are made to order, so please allow 2.5-3 weeks before shipping.
