  • Shifter (shifter arm and knob NOT included)
  • Crossmember 
  • Pilot Bearing
  • Flywheel Bolts

This kit will include everything you need to swap a T56 into your mod motor Mustang, minus a clutch, driveshaft, and shifter arm/ball. We did not include a clutch because power level is a heavy variable on which clutch you choose. Driveshaft length will vary depending on IRS vs SRA, motor mount placement, etc. Modular Head Shop will gladly help you spec and sell you a clutch once we are able to speak with you and have a better understanding of your needs. 

The T56 Magnum utilizes a reverse lockout solenoid to eliminate accidentally shifting into reverse when reaching for 5th gear. To avoid one of the infamous "money shifts" we recommend wiring in a control module that has logic that will only allow the transmission to be shifted into reverse when VSS (vehicle speed sensor) detects speeds less than 5MPH. Our kit contains the module with 5MPH detection logic, VSS pigtail, solenoid pigtail (solenoid on the transmission itself), and the pigtail that allows your vehicle to detect reverse gear and activate reverse lights accordingly.
