This Short Block is the next step up from our best selling 1000 HP Short Block. An excellent choice for both Turbocharged and Supercharged applications. This rotating assembly has been proven to hold well over 1300 WHP reliably. If you are trying to make 900+ WHP reliably with a large supercharger, this is the short block for you. We always recommend adding our crank stud mod for any large blower application as they put a ton of load on the crankshaft snout. We also have an aluminum block option for additional weight savings. 
 Iron Blocks are painted Epoxy Black prior to final assembly. We take serious pride in balancing and blue printing all engines. Connecting Rods are balanced on both big and small ends to a tolerance of 0.1g, bobweights for crank balancing are built to a tolerance of 0.1g and the crankshaft is balanced to a final tolerance of 0.2g. All Bearing and Piston to wall clearances are measured and recorded to a tolerance of 0.0001" and critical measurements such as crankshaft end play, connecting rod side clearance and connecting rod bolt stretch are all checked during final assembly.

All of our Short Blocks are custom and built to order. One size does not fit all and quality takes time.
