This Short Block is our Best Seller. Good for up to 1000 HP with Upgraded Wrist Pins. This Short Block uses a Fully Machined and Race Prepped Romeo iron Block with ARP Main Studs, Eagle Forged 4340 8 Bolt Crankshaft, K1 Forged 4340 H-Beam Rods with ARP 2000 Rod Bolts and Wiseco Pistons. The Wiseco Pistons that are included in this Short Block Assembly are by far the Strongest Shelf Stocking Pistons available for the Ford 4.6L Engines. These Wiseco Pistons come with a .300" Down Top Ring allowing for Valve Reliefs without compromising the integrity of the Piston Crown. The Wiseco GNX Ring Set features a Steel Nitrided Stainless Steel Top Ring that can hanlde any amount of Boost or Nitrous and a Napier 2nd Ring which helps with Oil Control. These Rings will not wear out the Cylinder Walls like some think, but they are much stronger than Plasma Moly Rings which are not good for Boost or Nitrous. 
 Iron Blocks are painted Epoxy Black prior to final assembly. We take serious pride in balancing and blue printing all engines. Connecting Rods are balanced on both big and small ends to a tolerance of 0.1g, bobweights for crank balancing are built to a tolerance of 0.1g and the crankshaft is balanced to a final tolerance of 0.2g. All Bearing and Piston to wall clearances are measured and recorded to a tolerance of 0.0001" and critical measurements such as crankshaft end play, connecting rod side clearance and connecting rod bolt stretch are all checked during final assembly.

All of our Short Blocks are custom and built to order. One size does not fit all and quality takes time.
