| All MHS Recession Buster RB cams are reground from stock cores. They are perfect for mild to even wild builds depending on usage. When using a stock core to regrind a performance spec we are limited to a smaller lift and duration than what is possible with a new billet steel core. If you need a larger cam spec than these please visit our MHS/Bullet cams page. While all of these specs will drop directly into a stock motor, we highly recommend degreeing of all cams to get the intake centerline into the 110 range as that is where you will make the most power below 7000RPM. All MHS Recession Buster cams are designed to work with the stock valve springs. 2V cams require shimming of the lash adjusters, we include the required shims. 3V cams are designed to work with the stock cam phasers. 4V cams of 220 duration and larger require shimming of the lash adjusters, we include the required shims. 4V cam LSA and centerlines listed are suggested, with all 4V cams since the intake and exhaust cams are independent of each other you can change these to any specs you want in your motor. Shims are washer style made by ARP and are precision ground. You simply install one of each under each lash adjuster and install the rest of the valvetrain like stock. All prices include core charge! If you send us your stock good condition cams back you will receive: $50 for a set of PI Romeo cams, sorry no Windsor or NPI cores accepted $75 for 2 sets of PI Romeo cams $100 for a set of 3V cams $100 for a set of 4V cams Cams need to be sent back in the cam boxes and packaging the RB cams came in. Core price will be given as a refund back to the original sale. There is no credit for damaged cores, no rust, no pitting, no spun cam journals. Use the address listed on our Contact/Order page to send the cores back to. 4V cams were made with 2 different bolt sizes, please let us know via email which bolt size you prefer early 12mm or late 10mm and we will try to accommodate depending on our inventory at the time. |
