We find the OEM Ford plastic PI intake with a BBK 1780 combination throttle body/upper elbow to be the best all around performance intake available under 6500RPM If you are going to shift at 7000RPM or higher and/or have 15lbs of boost or higher then at that time the P-51, Logan, Edelbrock or TFS is a wise choice to consider. If you are building a 5.4 then the HPS intake is the only available option in our opinion. A 4.6 intake with adaptor plates does not work as well. |
